Since the earthquake in 2010, Haiti’s availability of medical professionals, weakening of the healthcare infrastructure, dwindling access to conventional medicines as well as general access to food, clean water, sanitation and electricity has been on a downward slope. Upcoming is the Haitian driven vision, Swen Pou Tout Moun, a 3-year project that proposes to bring primary health care to communities in remote/under- resourced areas by establishing local community alliances to offer an AHH mobile clinic program.
