​Thera began her studies in homeopathy when she saw miraculous developmental progress in her daughter’s autism and her son’s asthma. Now, Thera has her own practice as a homeopath and nutritionist. In addition to volunteering at HWB, Thera volunteers at Seeds of Hope working with those affected by trauma, addiction, and mental health and at a clinic treating migrant workers. Thera previously worked as an Environmental Program Officer at Environment and Climate Change Canada developing policies and educational curricula. Thera studied Homeopathy at the Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine and completed her internship in Tanzania with Homeopathy for Health in Africa working with those with HIV/AIDS. She holds an MES and a BSc from the University of Toronto.​
