Suzanne Smith (In Memorium)

Suzanne was introduced to homeopathy in 1985 when she owned and operated a busy natural food market in Vermont. Excitement about this new modality led her to attend NCH's Summer School in 1988-1989. Not long after, her clientele encouraged her to found the Northern Vermont Affiliated Study Group. Suzanne retired after serving 14 years as a member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives. In addition to serving on a number of environmental commissions, she also co-chaired her town's Conservation Commission. Suzanne served on HWB's board since 2012-2024, as Secretary, Treasurer, webmaster, and editor (not all at the same time!). Suzanne graduated from Community College of Vermont in 1997 with a degree in Holistic Health and studied at the New England School of Homeopathy.
